Alex Roy, Writer, founder: A Blog of Horror

A Blog of Horror has roots starting back in 2008 when I decided to write reviews for horror films on Facebook. I write short and sweet reviews because I believe in the K.I.S.S concept. Writing thesis like reviews analysing every single aspect of a film is not my thing. I write the facts as I see them. Writing simple, to the point reviews is a key focus of this blog. A Blog of Horror is  an in depth archive of film reviews, articles and other horror film oriented stuff. My main focus is rediscovering those neglected horror gems that horror fans have forgotten about and bring them back in the spotlight. My reviews span everything from the classics to the modern tales of horror to the obscured films to neglected gems. This blog has it all. With a growing archive of film reviews, I strive to provide horror fans with the best reviews and recommendations as well as articles on horror directors, scream queens and special effects artists; my goal is to make my blog an ultimate resource for fans of this genre. My passion for the genre is ever growing, and my goal is to create a blog that will give horror fans a thorough archive of horror films.

My quest for the the ultimate in shocks began when I was eight years old and I saw The Lost Boys on TV. I was hooked right from the start and have passionate about horror films ever since. My knowledge of films is enormous and my passion to write drives my willingness to write this blog for fans of the genre as well as newcomers.
